My friend went to some insecure website and downloaded some file. When he opened the file, errors started popping up, then violation pop-ups started happening. On the next restart, my internet stopped working. It took me 1 hour to figure out why it wouldn't work. On Zone alarm firewall, i had to switch my Internet Security Level from HIGH to MEDIUM. HIGH means my computer is in stealth mode, making it invisible to other computers. Access to Windows NetBIOS (Network Basic Input/Output System) services, file and printer shares is blocked. Ports are blocked. MEDIUM means my computer is visible to other computers. Access to Windows services, file and printer shares is allowed. Program permissions are still enforced. I now have to switch it to MEDIUM in order to have access to the internet...I've always had it on HIGH before and had internet access, now i cannot surf the internet on the HIGH level. How can i go on the internet on HIGH (Stealth Mode)? Zonealarm says HIGH level is recommended for the Internet Zone, and MEDIUM level is recommended for temporary use in the Internet Zone. I need help on how to surf the internet while in Stealth mode please

I updated all of the following programs:
I scanned for viruses with AVG 8.0 and found 0 infections/viruses
I scanned with Lavasoft Ad-ware and found 0 infections
Spyware Blaster is updated and active.
Zonealarm is updated and active.
I scanned with Spybot Search & Destroy and found 1 infection. It was called Zlob.downloader.rid I used spybot to fix it.

can you pls do the following:

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.

• Download this file from one of the three below listed places :
  
  http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
  http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
  http://subs.geekstogo.com/ComboFix.exe
  
• Then double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.
