Unable to boot Windows 7 on XPS 420.

I previously had vista and 7 booting on the same machine, but after I reformatted the vista partition I now get an error message, "NO OPERATING SYSTEM FOUND". How can I change the bios on my Dell to recognize the windows 7 partition as a bootable operating system.

sounds like you deleted the bootloader as long as you have only deleted the vista partition and the win 7 install is ok you can go here

to download a new bootloader which will find the missing windows and allow you to boot, you will need to burn the download onto a cd or key drive to be able to do it tho

You dont have an USB pen/HDD connected do you? or an Floppy inserted?

put the windows 7 disc in and repair the installation, that should work.
