Unable to install drivers

i recently reinstalled my OS n formated my DELL VOSTRO, using the CD's that came with my laptop. However, i cant install certain drivers(Wireless Modem etc...) even tho i run the installation completely...

Are you sure they are not fully installed? Are there any errors under Device Manager?
What error is it giving you?

well.. the installation goes fine... but the device manager shows Base System Device, Ethernet Controller, Network Controller, SM Bus Controller and Video Controller aren't installed. I've tried installing them, but it cant find the driver on the CD n i cant connect to the internet..
