Unbinding F keys?

Right now my F1-F12 Keys are bound to things like search, and rename file, and things like that. It is an emachines keyboard and it comes with these keys bound to these functions, how do I unbind them from the keys?

That's eMachines! All that is programmed into the bios itself while with a custom build you would simply run a software for a keyboard to assign various functions to different keys with a programmable model. Prebuilt systems on the other hand refer you to the manual to know what each key was preprogrammed for.

Lol, it is a custom built computer. I am just using an emachines keyboard.

OUCH! Get rid of it! The problem there is that it is made for use on "their machines" and not a standar 101 or 104 model. You would probably better off with a programmable model like a Logitech or MS model where you can easily choose what each key can be assigned to over being stuck with their preassigned functions seen there.
