Underclocked?

Hrrmm, I am so noob, I don't know if I am underclocked. Just put it together...
q6600
Gigabyte ud3r
4gb G.Skill 1066
MSI 4870
Antec 650w

Numbers don't like right to me but, hey! what do I know?!

The multiplier isn't set to 9, which it should be. A quick look at Gigabyte's homepage shows that your motherboard does support the Q6600, so most likely something is just set wrong in the BIOS.

Disable C1E / EIST / Speedstep in BIOS. - Whatever of those you can find

I dont think u r underclocked that happens to me too when my CPU its idle try run some apps and ull see ur CPU runing at 2400MHz

its intel speedstep get orthos or something and run that and you will see it raise to its proper speed.
