Uninstall Norton

I had a link to uninstall Norton/Symantec, but now when I try to use it it is unavailable!!. Symnrt.exe.
Is there a newer updated version of this removal tool.
I have tried all the add/remove options, but this does not remove all of them.

I need a programme remover that is designed by Symantec, for this purpose only.
I had it for the removal of my girlfriend's Norton, but now on mine after doing the add/ remove in windows, I still have some of it there!
It was symnrt.exe?

I am miffed about this as I have used it before??
Could it be that it comes up with a ftp address instead of a http??

be sure you download the symnrt removal tool FRESH. It is updated regularly by Symantec. You have to use the newest download of it in order for it to work. If you are using one that is a few months old it probably won't work, (i have verified this on multiple machines) :)

Why do you want to uninstall norton anyway, its the best antivirus out there.

for some people, some may not prefer it as the best but it could be one of the best AV softwares. There are others :)
