For some reason, everytime time I reformat my Ubuntu partition, upon rebooting, I get a message, saying that Grub 1.5 or something has an 'Error 22'...... How do I completely remove Ubuntu?
the second post is referring to your master boot record (mbr) which grub is loaded in. You must wipe out the boot sector so windows can load properly. Or you can edit the grub menu to only load windows. Boot loaders are installed in the boot sector of a HD (sector 0,0) and will load any OS. Your boot loader, GRUB, was configured to load several OSes, now that one OS is missing it is erroring out. for more info check this out
Thanks for the reply although I finally found a way to fix it (and hopefully there won't be any consequences) which involved downloading some stuff and using the command prompt......
