Is this within or with the applications uninstaller? Or with Add/Remove in control panel?

If you installed it recently you could always try just using System Restore.
A trick I sometimes like to use is to reinstall the program, then uninstall it.
If that doesn't work, delete the program directory and then run a reg cleaner. It will realize all the files are missing and will delete the entries out of the registry. It's a hack job, but it works.
