My father is an older gentleman, and about a year ago I was able to convince him to switch over to Outlook and get rid of a program he was using called Expresso. The program was uninstalled, but still generates errors on my father's login. It does not generate these errors on anyone elses log-ins on this computer. The errors appear only after a fresh boot, and only when selecting his login:
Windwos cannot find 'C:\Expresso\flash.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.
* After clicking 'OK' this error appears:
Coutld not load or run 'C:\Expresso\flash.exe' specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry.
* After clicking 'OK' this error appears:
Windows cannot find 'C:\Expresso\notify.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.
* After clicking 'OK' this error appears:
Could not load or run 'C:\Expresso\notify.exe' specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry.
I was thinking about loading up regedit, seaching for 'expresso' and deleting every entry I found. Which HKEY would be causing this? HKEY_USERS?
