uninterrupted downloading software

I believe there is a free software that allows you to pick up a download from where you left it if your connection or PC fail you. Any idea which one it is? Or, if there are many, which one is the best one.

I use wget, there's a Windows version.

There's also GoZilla... dunno if it's still free though.

There's a lot of these programs. I use NetAnts and it seems ok.
But even with these programs, you can continue the download only if the server from which the file is downloading supports resume.
