If it's a OEM system you could e-mail dell (go to site and search under support options) and they could tell you what model it is. I did that a while back just because I was curious what the #e!! was in my machine. They will need the Asset Tag # and probably the Express Service Code #. Both of which are found by: "Start" > "My Computer" > "Veiw System Information" (under "System Tasks") > "Support Information". You might also want to include what ever numbers that you can find on the board, though I realize there aren't many. I hope that helps somewhat.
