Unlocking a HP OmniBook XE3

Hey guys, first post here. I have a question about the laptop listed in the topic. My family owns a Pawn Shop here in Greenville, SC. Luthi's Sports and Pawn www.luthis.com. I get things for a deal and since we needed an extra computer around the house I acquired the HP OmniBook XE3. It has Windows 2000 Pro with NT Technology. (I guess they all have that though.) I was wondering if there is any was of bypassing the password screen without using a restore disk? It does not allow the selection of the cancel button. Is there anything I can do to get around this? Thanks guys.

Edit: It says I need a BIOS upgrade in order to clear it, and the only option I have is to cancel and reboot.

at the bottom of the page their are a load of tools to recover the password.

If not just google win 2000pro password cracker, should find results their.
