"Unsupported Operating System"?

I had got a new hard drive for my laptop a couple weeks ago and have been having trouble, mostly some downloads. When I try and download WMP 11, I click "Validate" I get the message saying the the top "Unsupported Operating Sutem" Below it, it asks me to download WMP rollup 2 or something like that. The hard drive is suppose to be a new hard drive from Acer. I think it's a referbished one. Probably one that the computer repair shop put in, maybe. I dunno.

what did you put on it and did you activate it?

Install it, might just be a missing codec of some kind.

what os did you put on it... is it the backup disk that came with your computer
