my question is many fold. I use nod32 and malwarebytes and for the longest time I've been getting popups from nod32 saying site blocked gsn.com/something-or-other.exe (which would seem to be some game/slight malware) as well as one that says swarm.org/something-or-other. now this one is weird. swarm.org is a computer science site hosted by the University of Michigan. so my questions are, 1. why is nod32 blocking every page of their site?; 2. why does my computer keep trying to contact it?(gsn as well); and 3. how do I stop this?
I run regular scans and poke around for malicious looking files. I use CCleaner for temp files and my registry. and I've never found any indication of what could be attempting to access these sites.
also, before this I never went to either site, I don't play online games much either.
