Up dating BIOS for a X2 athlon?

Didn't know if i should put this in the Mobo or here but anyway.

How do i up date BIOS on my ASUS A8N-SLI Premium for a 4400 X2

I have never really played much with BIOS or with CPU's nor Dual CPU's so i really have NO idea what so ever.

Although i am not so ignorant when it comes to computers in general so i should be able to findout/understand what your talking about.

So any help would be good.

THis should go under mobo's, but no biggie...

You should be VERY careful when updating the bios. If something goes wrong, you're comp might be trashed.

I don't know how Asus does it, but my Abit actually had a program that automatically checked what bios I had, what the newest online was, downloaded and installed it all for me.
 
have a look at ASUS's website. thats all i did. DFI had the BIOS and had direction on how to update it. i learned later that i didnt need to upgrade b/c i had recently bought it so it had it already. that might be the same case for you but its good to check b4 hand.
