Update BIO?

Well, guys, basically, I don't even know what BIO is.

All I know is I was reading some review in newegg regarding my mobo, and they said we all need to update BIO. I have seen the files in the offical ASUS website, but my question is, do I really need to update it? I meant, the system is running fine as it is now, the last thing I wanna do is to screw it up for myself.

Thank you.

I think you need to read up on this stuff a bit more :P I beleive the ord you're looking for is BIOS, and you really don't need to update it unless you have problems or something's not 100% compatable. IE, my mobo wasn't compatable with X2 processors untill I updated the bios...

Its always good to keep your BIOS updated.. It will make your computer more responsive and reliable.
As far as screwing it up, as long as you download the right BIOS update for your motherboard, you ain't screwing it up..
I keep my BIOS updated regardless of computer running good or bad.. It's a good update...

Yeah... loss of power or anything's a bit no-no during a bios flash. My suggestion, once again, is to just leave it unless you REALLY must update.
