update video card

My Compaq Presario SR 1053wm video card is Via/S3G UniChrome IGP. I need to upgrade till I can play Halo and other similar games, don't want to spend more than I have to. Any suggestions and help is appreciated.

Did a little research. The slot is agp 8x. What is the amount of money more then you want to spend? I very nice upgrade would be a 7600gs for around $110 USD.

The 7600GS is a PCI-E card.

I would actually go with the x800/x850 series card, but the 6800GS is nicer, but a bit more expensive.
