Updating Chipset Drivers

You won't need 3 or 4 threads to see one system updated. Chipset drivers are generally on the software disk that comes along with the board or you simply go to the manufacturer's support site to download a zip or self extracting installer type update there.

You will see onboard video and audio driver sets with their own self installers as well. Once downloaded to a folder or even opened without first saving to the drive the files will either unpack to a temp folder or run the installer for them. The support/download page for that Asus model board is seen at http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

When clicking on the "+" sign at the left of the chipset item a new screen will open up for choosing the OS you are currently running with each of those providing direct download links there for the install utility provided.

I downloaded the drivers for download. I am just not sure if I need to uninstall or set anything up before I install these Chipset Drivers?

It's the same with those as outlined in the other sound card thread. The installation is basic and easy for the most part.
