Updating Malwarebytes

Hey guys, I know and use Malwarebytes, but was wondering the following: if a computer is infected and doesn't allow me to access internet to update Malwarebytes, is there a way to download it on different (clean) computer, update it there and then transfer the updated version onto the infected one?
Thanks to all of you in advance

If for some reason Malwarebytes will not install or run please download and run Rkill.scr, Rkill.exe, or Rkill.com but DO NOT reboot the system and then try installing or running Malwarebytes. If Rkill (which is a black box) appears and then disappears right away or you get a message saying rkill is infected, keep trying to run rkill until it over powers the infection and temporarily kills it. Once a log appears on the screen, you can try running malwarebytes or downloading other programs.

Thank you, this is a very valuable advice. Does it matter which of the three "rkill"s I try, I mean shoul I just stick with one and keep trying? Also, after I posted my Q: I noticed in another thread that you suggested slaving the Hd to another computer and scanning it from there. Will that work too and will it basically be like scanning an external hard drive? Thanks in advance, your input is most appreciated!

Also, should I try Rkill in Safe Mode with Networking or normal? If the virus doesn't allow me to get on the internet, how do I download Rkill?

I recommend rkill.scr as sometimes no exe will run depending on the infection you have. and its always best to keep it in the system its in and scan it that way as if you put it in a different system the registry wont get scanned and that where most infections are.

Use a different computer andsave the file to a usb flash drive and transfer it to the infected system.

Thanks so much for your help, truly appreciate the work you do on the forum, not only for me now, but for everyone else.
