updating motherboard

upgrading motherboard

Well, i am looking at replacing my AMD 3200 with a AMD dual core. Question i have is should i upgrade my stock motherboard? I have no clue on what to look for or where to start. Looking for some help here....I would mind getting into overclocking once i upgrade pcu....Any info needed please let me know...also running geforce 7600GT, and soundblaster card....thank

This came off of PC wizard...

NorthBridge (SPP) : nVidia nForce 430
NorthBridge : AMD K8 Bridge
SouthBridge (MCP) : nVidia nForce 410/430 MCP

noone wants to give there input on this. maybe I should just staywith what i got and replace my cpu.....Upgrading the motherboard may be way over my head anyways or wouldnt help me for what i do,,,,
 
You will have more problems to look for swaping a board in a Emachine, if the back panel will match up, if the board will even fit, if the case connectors for the PWR/switch HD/LCD on so on will match up.

thats en easy solution. I can get a new case, a standard case looks pretty cheap.....So now you almost got me into a new build, lol.....Now what.. In all honest, I dont think I need to...If itisnt broke, dont fix it....So, I guess I am off to get my new cpu and call it good, thanks for the help and when I am ready to upgrade case and motherboard, i will be asking questions again...
