I have been thinking about buying a new computer for a long time, and was thrilled to learn that they still make some parts for my 2-year old "ancient" computer lol. So instead, I decided I would upgrade this computer, since it still works alright. I would rather spend a couple hundred bucks and make this computer last for an extra year or 2, than buy a whole new one right now. I have a really nice hard drive. Basically what I want to upgrade is my CPU, Video Card, and my RAM. Instead of posting 3 different threads, I will just do it all in here. This is my motherboard type:

For my CPU, I have an AMD Athlon 64 3200+. I was looking at NewEgg and TigerDirect, and there is currently 4 CPUs to choose from on those sites. So this is the one that I picked, it was the best of the 4. Will it be better than the one I have, and will it work with my MB?

Also, I was hoping to get some thoughts on this video card. I have never heard of this brand before, so I am not sure if it is a nice card or not. It seems to have decent reviews.
