Updating Video card after reformat and reinstall of OS?

Dos Boot

After having completed a new build and software installation, I had
a problem so I decided to just reformat and start all over.
The question is, Should I be reinstalling the Video driver update again? That is to say, is the updated driver already in the hardware or bios now or was it removed when I reformatted the Hard drive?
This question also applies to the Motherboard. The way my computer is acting (like the last go around) it looks like the Mobo needs the updates. I just want to be sure before I change anything. Thanks much, John

If you reformatted your hard drive, then yes you need to install your video card's driver. Along with all of the other drivers you installed the first time.

Thank you, I thought so. I remember the first two times that I built
a computer and I would inadvertantly reload the same drivers and
wonder if I made conflicts in my system. I am always cautious before
proceeding now after learning from the past of being too anxious to finish
a project. I am glad we have places like this to get specific answers.
