Updating

Basically I play Warcraft 3, but the game isnt on the system registry. I can only update it if it is on the registry. Is there anyway I can manually add it to the registry, or patch it some other way?

I don't know of any way other than taking the files off of your computer and reinstalling. You can't "uninstall" because that also requires the registry entry. So, you need to just take out the files manually.

In order to patch it, you will have to reinstall- that is what DCIScouts is saying. Dont delete the files, just save them to a CD or another HDD, then reinstall.
Edit: how did you manage that in the first place?

Well you could say that Trizoy. So yes its only the directory files, but is there anyway i can extract the files from the patch installation file? Cause then ill just put them into the directory folder and hopefully itll work.

I have tried to extract the EXE patch file with WinRar but does not seem to work. Are there any other programs which can extract files from EXE files?
