upgradable GPU in laptops.

we all know that laptops are limited on the upgradability. So i was thinking why they couldn't make a slot in the laptop to-where you can upgrade it , if need be.Some laptops has a dedicated card(discrete)that comes with them, but not upgradable. How hard would it really be to do that? The GPU is the only part of a laptop that cant be upgraded, which is whats stoping it from being something great.I (and ya'll) know that graphics in a laptop will never be as powerful as a desktop GPU,because of the size of the GPU limits the performance, as more real estate offers more performance.I think IMHO that we could get atleast a TRUE AMD 6870/6950 or Nvidia 560/570 in a laptop. I just want to know what yall think about this matter.

I think some of them is upgradable.
e.g. barebone notebook like Clevo P170HM would probably allow you to change video card. However, whether you could get hold of notebook graphic component is another issue.
