Everything looks great EXCEPT the video card. To play today's games (Crysis, COD, etc) you're going to need a much better video card. Look at the 9800GTX's, HD4800 series, or the GT260 or above series, and then you should be good to go. Prepare to spend at least double what you're spending on the card you have picked out on newegg, if not a little bit more.

Other than that, you're doing very well!
 
Yes, they are backwards compatible, but you would get slightly better with 2.0, then 1.0, but you will still get great performance.:)

Look at the card...(100-140) Hella lot more powerful than the 2600...
