Upgrade CPU

Can anyone tell me how to remove CPU to replace a new one? Is it easy to do? I am doing upgrade on my alienware area-51 7500 desktop. I would appreciate if you explain to me how to do it step by step, so I could understand you. Thank you.

well you really just have to pop the heatsink/fan off (which requires the expertise of undoing a locking lever, very easy) and then take the cpu out, put the new one in (make sure to match corners, should be marked with an > looking sign, or have 1 less pin), drop (not push) it in, put the hs/f back on , and then, tada.

after that don't need to set up on BIOS? Is it like auto itself just like a memory card?

Make sure you have the same socket mobo as the new CPU. It depends on what the HS is held on with. You prolly have a push pin system so just pull on the finger gripped part of the 2 levers and it will release the heatsink. Remember that the HS has thermal paste which somewhat glues it to the CPU. After making sure nothing is stopping you from pulling the HS off, you will have to use some force to pull the HS off the CPU since the paste is very sticky. After that, there should be another small lever near the CPU that you pull towards you which releases the CPU from the locked position. Then just take the CPU out with literally no force. Its extremely easy though the first time I did it I thought I crushed my CPU when I locked it in place since it makes a grinding like noise. Maybe thats just me :).
