Upgrade for a newb

Hey there so I have no knowledge of computers and so I've come here to 1)increase my knowledge and 2) get answers for the questions I cannot answer myself.
I currently have an Acer Aspire E1-731-2409, I know this is not a computer equip for gaming or so it seems. I downloaded SWTOR and this game just freezes all the time and I cant PVP like that which puts a damper on my life...
So is there any way I can upgrade the computer to increase its performance for gaming. Like installing a new graphics card?

You can't install a new graphics card in a laptop that wasn't designed for gaming. The first killer spec is the 1.9 ghz single core celeron processor. If you want to play games, why don't you build a desktop system? What other games do you want to play?
 
I only want the one game. Like said I have no base knowledge of computers so I didn't know this. I also don't have the ability to build a desktop... which is unfortunate
 
I am currently am making payments on the laptop I have because I am going to school working part time and have a ton of bills it makes it a little hard to save up enough cash to get something of high quality that I cant make payments on.
