Upgrade Graphics Card

I have a Lenovo T61p with a 2.6 Ghz dual core processor and 4Gb of Ram. The notebook came with a Nvidia Quadro FX 570m. However I'm starting to get more into computer gaming and I was wondering if I can upgrade my graphics card? Is it possible? What can I upgrade to? How much would it cost?
 
If it is possible, it would be way to expensive. Greater than $300. Besides that is one of the highest benchmarked gpu's.
