Upgrade help please

Hi guys

I'm looking to upgrade my pc. It's currently an AMD 6400 x2, with 2gb RAM.

I want to upgrade it, it's pretty old now. It's mainly going to be used as a gaming PC, and sometimes use it to host my Plex media server (so film transcoding).

It's mainly between AMD Bulldozer 6100 VS i3/7

Ill need a mobo/RAM combo (I already have 8GB G-Skill RIPJAWS)

My budget is £180-200. I have seen a i5 2500k with a motherboard for £250, so I may stretch to that.

Which ones of these would be best? I'm swaying towards the bulldozer due to price mainly.

I do have a Radeon 4 series HD. (4500 I THINK)

I think it's better to get a new gpu too.
The budget is a bit low but you could go for this (decent gaming performance btw):

If you got the ram, then you can spend the 20 pounds on a hd6870 or a better i3 3220

I think I'll spend it on a3220 then. Is the i3 better than a AMD bulldozer 6200?
