Upgrade Help

Hi everybody. I plan to upgrade my PC for gaming.

Below are my computer's spec.

Manufacturer ----> Acer
Model ---->Aspire X3400
Processor ----> AMD Athlon II X4 645 3.10 GHz
Ram ----> 6 GB
GPU ----> Geforce 9200

So I have the ideal CPU and the Ram to play BF4, but the GPU is just out of their league.

So, I am looking to upgrade my PC. It appears I have to upgrade the PSU since it can only handle 220W. After much research, I plan on buying the Radeon HD 7850 2GB. It can run BF4 on Ultra. But being as a low profile graphics card, it requires at least 500W. So whats the best PSU upgrade to support this?

Also, will the Radeon card fit in my computer?

No that card is not going to fit in your tower. You have a mini tower, and that is a full height card. You're better off building something good from scratch than trying to make that Acer play.

That card is useless for gaming really, especially BF4. Just save and get a new computer, no point in sinking any more money in to an outdated machine.

You can only fit low-profile card. The best on the market would probably be R7 250 or GT 740.

A better option is get a case, new PSU and a good mid-range video card. This would probably cost you around $300

yea neither of those parts (cpu / gpu) will be suitable for bf4 on ultra settings. recommended if you want 30+ fps is like a gtx 780 ($500) and a minimum of a core i5 4690k. also bf4 supports more threads so an amd 8350 would do well in it, unlike most games where the 4690k crushes it

You don't need a GTX 780 for BF4. A GTX 760 or even 750 TI would be powerful enough to play (albeit not on max settings, but still pretty good).
