upgrade monitor?

II have a 21" acer monitor that runs at 1680x1050...

My question is, should I upgrade to a bigger monitor with higher res? I use my computer for gaming and have:

Gpu: gtx590
cpu: i7-2600k
8gb 1333 ram

...how much would a better screen improve my experience?
 
not many people buy dell monitors. mostly get asus and samsung, also hanns g doesn't seem too bad, just check the reviews really.

you can also look at dual and triple monitors for a rig like that.

Hey

I also have an old desktop from 2004 running on 22" widescreen. And I'm also fond of games, which are running perfectly in it. You only need to correct the driver installed for a better display.
Be aware that running a higher resolution screen requires the gfx card to work harder so performance may suffer if its not up to the task. Also there are certain set standards on which you should set the screen, unless it can harm you body.
