My important system specs are these that follow: A P4 2.66 Ghz 478 processor, 1 gig of DDR memory and a 6600 GT 128 MB GDDR3 AGP. My computer cannot get good graphics out of this card even though the person I purchased it from and all the reviews I have read say it is a good card. Could it be my processor? Is it too small? or maybe I just need to upgrade to a 6800 GT Ultra? Idk could you guys help me out? thanks

1-Did you download the newest drivers?
2-Are the BIOS settings right?
3-Did you configure your card right?
4-Are the application settings right for your card?

Yes you can download the drivers from www.nvidia.com BIOS is the Basic Input Output System. You can get the BIOS menu by pressing Del key on your keyboard. It is up to the motherboard but it is usually Del key. When you see the CPU info on the screen that you see just after you press the power button, press Del key.And then go in to the Advanced chipset configuration menu,or sth similar then check AGP8x enabled or not.If it is not enabled,,enable it.Or change the AGP mode to 8x.

haha ok i know what ur talkin about, same thing as CMOS right? yes i recently did that last night and it sees my GPU and i even OCed my processor and there is but little more performance from it. So its the CPU?

I have a Gigabyte Titan GA-8SG800 w/ a 478 socket. I'm playing the latest games like Battlefield 2, Half-life 2 and so on. The problem is is that I'm not running them on high resolutions and detail! For Battlefield 2 everything is in default mode and the resolution is only 800 X 600! For Half-life 2 everything is on medium besides the model detail which is set on high.
