Hi all.
Would really appreciate some help if you can. :0)
I recently installed a copy of Win7 Home on my laptop as I didn't want to use Vista. Everything went great until I found out that I couldn't connect to the internet any more.
My laptop is a Clevo W76K.
I have 4 missing drivers that windows7 does not pick up. These are:
Base System Device(Not sure what that is)
Base System Device(Ditto)
Ethernet Controller
Network Controller
I have tried connecting to the internet, and searching all folders on my laptop for these drivers but have not found them.
Driver Provider - Date - Version - Signer are all unknown/not available.
"Drivers are not installed, code 28"
I have visited Clevo's website and I can't find my W76K model number that I am looking for. This may be due to the laptops age but I tend not to think so as its a 1.6Ghz processor with 1 Gb of RAM.
I have sent them an email but am hoping that youu guys might have some more relevant, quicker ideas? I wonder if you can get generic drivers?
Any ideas would be welcome as I would love to fix this asap.
Here's hoping, cheers, Ste.
