upgrade purchasing

Within the next few days/weeks, I plan on buying some new parts from my computer (from Newegg of course) with money I got from christmas. my current specs are below, and most of the stuff that i plan on buying is just standard hard drive upgrades or disk drive replacements, but i am considering getting more ram from corsair for my computer...i was just wondering if it would be worth it. also, if i do get more ram, should i stick with the ddr2 800? or would it be more worthwhile to go with 1066 memory?

Pretty good, buy i would suggest to change the power supply to the OCZ StealthxStream 600w or the OCZ Gamexstream 600w. They're pretty much the same thing except the GamexStream comes with flashy LED lights. Also, change your video card. You can buy a 512mb HD3850 for the same price range, and you'll be getting DX10 graphcis AND a lot better performance. Also, 800mhz is all you need. Anything else is pretty much a waste. :)

Happy building.:)

as much as i would like to try overclocking, i dont exactly know how because (even though ive read through all the guides and such) it still seems to me that my motherboard is locked, since all the options for the processor are greyed out. also, im kind of scared to overclock anything since it seems like my computer is already running really hot.
