Upgrade to wireless N??

I have wireles G all around the house and I was wondering if upgrading to wireless N would make my internet connection faster?

Apparently the internet line or whatever is pretty old around my house so im not sure if wireless N would help?

Unless all your devices operate on Draft-N, it will continue to run at Draft-G speeds.

Plus your wireless router won't make your internet speed any faster. It all depends on the speed you pay for through your provider.

Correct, Unless you are running a local backup or have a need to move files over your local network, there is no need for N.

Note that if you are transferring stuff over your network ethernet will be faster than wireless g
