you should put an extra 15 bucks in and get a mobo that has dual 2.0x16 pci slots so that in the future if you want to crossfire or sli you can

I dont really think Xfire/SLI is worth bothering with. If the slots run at 8x in Xfire, is it worth Xfiring over just getting a better card? For 2x the cost, the performance is a lot less. Some benchmarks Ive seen, cards go up a couple frames in Xfire in games. A 2x x16 mobo would be a lot more then $15+. Am I getting anything right? :). I game at 1440x900 resolution till probably this christmas where I will get a new monitor. I read that Xfire doesnt work as well in lower resolutions. Can anyone tell me if its worth getting a second PCI-E 2.0 slot?

Id still get a motherboard with 2 PCI express slots, its one of the regrets I used to have, but now I have 3, I don't know what to do with the other two, since my card is hard to find.
