upgraded pc lower performance

hi,i hope you ca help me.i upgradet my pc from a nforce 405 motherboard to a 630i and de processor from amd single core 2.4 gh to pentium e5200 dual core.the problem is it seems that performance dropted.it takes longer to install win ,longer to load win ....and i observed that after installin windows,installing sp3 ..all drivers,antivirus ...the temp of system is more than 40 celcius degrees and the cpu is still at room temp....20 degrees celcius . thanks

have you installed all the appropriate drivers such as Motherboard chipset drivers,Graphic drivers,Sound drivers etc?

yes ,they are all installed...i know it should be faster ...the hard was defragmented ....help

were you sure that the board was compatiable with the chip in power. and make sure you have big enough PSU for the MB and CPU as too little youll get some performance drops.

Be sure you seated the cpu correctly with a drop of thermal paste. if you did that you should be good.

what PSU means ?the cpu was seated by the guys from the computer shop ...

Your CPU will never be lower than air temp with air cooling. Even with liqued cooling, unless ur using like liquid nitrogen

i din't say it was lower ..i sayd the same temp ..maybe 2 degrees more than room temp
