Upgradez

So, I'm doing an upgrade for a friend, but we're both on opposite sides of what he should upgrade. He's got a 7800GT, and I recommended that he SLI them, because he already has the motherboard for it. He also wants to upgrade his RAM from 1-2GBs. Which would you do?

maybe a better CPU, X2 4200 maybe, i don't know the socket he has

Well, I would upgrade the ram before the video card.
But I would definitely upgrade the processor first.
