i'm kind of sketchy about this subject...as in...is it logical? i feel i should, but what i'd like to know (generally speaking) should i upgrade the cpu, the mobo, or just get a new computer?

well, the cpu is a pentium 4 running at 3 Ghz..

this is my motherboard..what you think? you see, i want that new age of conan mmorpg, and minimum requirements as for a 3Ghz pentium 4....i dont like running on minimun specs

Mainboard

MPS Version : 1.40
Model : D865PERL

System BIOS : 63-0100-000001-00101111-053004-iSPGDL

I would go for a new computer. However, being me, I would build that new computer and cannabalise the old one for any useful parts IE Hard drive, optical drives and possibly other things.

probably going to want to upgrade to an x38 or x35 for crossfire, for an intel board, and for sli 750i or 780i from xfx, foxconn, or evga, and the processor, i would recommend the e8400 wolfdale, or the e8500, the e8400 is 3.0ghz and dual core, the e8500 is 3.16ghz, and a dual core, ask some other members of this board for their opinion

thanks for the suggestions...how much does a decent board go for, do you know?

okay, bringing this topic back to life...you suggest the e8500.....do i need to upgrade the mobo to, or is that compatible with my current one(specs are in my earlier post)....and considering these things, can someone recommend a good cooling solution for this?
