Upgrading CPU

Hi, I don't know much about CPU's, but I want to upgrade my HP G60-637CL Notebook's CPU From an Intel T4400 to an Intel T9900, so that I can watch and edit HD video better. It uses the same socket, but I'm not sure if the cooling system will be able to handle it. The intel site says that both processors have 35w Max TDP, but the site I want to buy the new one from says 35w in the subtitle, and 80w in the description.. could this be a mistake? Would the new one give off more heat regardless, because its faster?

Thanks

yes, it will give off more heat because it is faster.
This does not mean that the cooling system in your G60 will not support a T9900. The support in your G60 will depend a lot in what HP has put forward on BIOS support. Not just cooling ans socket support.

I have not found anything saying that it will not work, but that does not mean that it will work. Its all luck on Laptop CPU support.
