Upgrading. Good Parts? Will this last me a while?

this first link for the cpu and mobo is bad. I need to know what type of mobo and cpu you using, and for the combined price of $170 I have to say it's probably not dual core and is probably not the way you want to go. If you can get the money I recommend going for the Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and the M2N-E, which is probably around $240 total and then instead of going for the one stick of 1GB, I recommend going for (2x512MB) instead like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227126, it's the same price after rebate.

Yeah if you switch funds away from the hard drive you can get a Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (AM2 Socket), M2N-E motherboard, and a Western Digital 16MB Cache SATA II WD2500KS for the same price for less than what your hard drive, cpu, and mobo would of cost and it will suit you beter for the future.
