upgrading graphics card..

I posted my new pc specs on the desktop section the other day.. they said it looks a good pc except for the graphics card..

I currently have a "NVIDIA 8500GT SLI 512MB GRAPHICS CARD"

what would you recommend i upgrade to? I don't want to pay loads for one as i only paid £530 for the entire system.

Would a 8800gtx 768mb drop a lot in price after the launch of the 9 series?

Not at the moment.
Microsoft said they will release Vista SP1 with DX10.1 And all current DX10 cards will not support the additional function.
 
What's your budget? I will go for like 2 months with the 8500Gt and then i'll check prices again, you'll see they'll go down ;)

I'd keep that card til the 9 series it out yeah, it won't be long now. Plus the 8500GT is a fine card for the games out at the moment, right? No need to replace it yet ;)
