hi i bougght a new 80G HD and i want to transfer every thing to it that was in my 20G, including OS (XP windows). Is that possible? or do i have to Install windoes on the new HD and manually copy and past everything in the HD????

Could someone tell me how to do this safley??

Install XP on the 80 (make it master on the chain) and then copy over the files you want from the 20Gb to the 80Gb.

But what about microsoft office and other programs that generally use e.g C:/my doucment.........the new hard drive will be more like D:/my doucments.......will they open up fine?? or do i have to make the new drive the same name C:/.
Besides the old drive is fat32 formated and i want the new one to be NTFS can i still copy and past?
Will i have to reinstall Windows office and othe programs on the new hard drive?

thanks for relocating my post to where it belongs.

partition magic is a program that may help, it will allow you to copy over an entire partition to the new drive
