hi, im running windows xp home, i have 512 mb ram and 80gb hard drive, im using pentium4 processor. i have a pci express slot. does this help?

I had an old Dell Dimension 8200 desktop in a long time ago, but it has been sold. That computer video card has an AGP 4X and it won't run the game Call of Duty 4. (Dell Dimension 8200)

What CPU speed do you have? You might get a 6600 agp card that will run in the box and may run the game at lower settings. Not sure if you can use a 7x00 card in that box...

its a dell dimension 8200 with a pci slot and an agp slot, its a pentium4 1.9 ghz processor with 768mb ram..hope this helps.

The 1.9 ghz cpu will hold you back quite a bit, especially for the latest games. An agp card in the gf 6x00 or 7x00 series would help a lot with some games, but COD4 would be a stretch. You might upgrade the CPU, but it gets to a point where it's cheaper to do a full upgrade of the hardware...

I don't sell PC's BTW :)

thanks for your advice, im going to try and upgrade without buying a new pc, ill spend up to £100 before i give up and buy a new one. can anyone reccomend a new pcie or agp card for around that money??
