Upgrading Laptop

I want to upgrade from 512 Mb to 1 Gb on my Dell Latitude D610. It currently runs DDR2-400. If I were to get DDR2-553 or 667 would they work?

533 would work but I don't know about 667.

Maybe see what one of the popular memory mfrs. recommendations are, i.e. Crucial. Then just double check that the memory you're gonna pull the trigger on is backward compatible.

Technically, as long as it's DDR2, it should work... Though, I know some old PC100 laptops hated PC133... Maybe you can find a forum specifically about those laptops and find what chips people have purchased
