upgrading memory

Yes i am wanting to upgrade my memory in my dell dimension 2350. I have all ready upgraded to 1gb. In the online book it says all the mobo can take is 1 gb. i wanted to know if that might just be them wantingt o keep it safe or woukd it hurt to upgrade

I wouldn't advise adding more than the specified amount. Have you even got any spare slots?

i have a total of 2 slots and i have 2 512mb in them like the book said to do well what i was wanting to do was buy 2 1gb memory sticks
