Upgrading my computer

I've decided to upgrade the computer I built a few years ago and have come up with a list of what I think I want to buy. I'd appreciate any suggestions you could give me.

I already have (from my old computer):

Memorex 52x32x52 Cd burner (found it in a computer that was going to be thrown away)

LG 32x10x40 combo cd burner and DVD player (16x)
( I got this long before I found the Memorex)

Maxtor 40 gig 7200 RPM HDD (not sure on the model)

Samsung Spinpoint 80 gig 7200 RPM HDD

Samsung Spinpoint 120 gig 7200 RPM HDD

a 512mb stick of pc3200 RAM

a 256mb stick of pc3200 RAM

Chenming full tower case

and other parts (Mobo, processor, Video card, ect.) that I'm not going to re-use.

I'm planning on buying:

Athlon 64 3000+ Venice Socket 939

Soltek SL-K8TPro-939 Motherboard

Rosewill Geforce 6600GT 128mb AGP

Rosewill RP550 Power supply

Arctic Cooling Silencer64 UltraTC Fan

NEC DVD burner

I know I could go with a PCI Express mobo and vid card but I need the 5 pci slots that the AGP boards have. I plan on using this computer for gaming and general purpose use and need to keep this upgrade under $550 (the list I have costs $520).

maybe remove the 256mb and get a identical 512ram for dual channel support and then have two identical hdd for raid 0?

I recommend a different motherboard

AGP Options

Same price of the one you picked
GIGABYTE GA-K8NS Ultra-939 $99

A little bit more money
MSI K8N NEO2 PLATINUM Socket 939 $120

PCI-E options

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum Socket 939 $125

if you go this way then you would have to change your video card to the PCI-E one.

All three of those motherboards I think would be much better options then the one you picked.
