Hi I bought a cheap Emachine a while back and have been looking into some possible upgrades for it. Its an ET-1831-01. Basically, what I want to do is put in a faster processor (Currently a 1.6 Celeron...fun fun fun), put in a video card, and probably upgrade the power supply because im thinkin ill have to. Ive been looking on newegg.com and this is what im thinking of getting...

VIDEO CARD

PROCESSOR

Basically all that i am wondering is if these three things will even work with my system. I have done some research and am pretty sure everything will be fine but because this is my first time upgrading my PC myself, I just wanna be sure before ordering.

Thanks.

better upgrade if ya can get some used memory and call it a day. Bank it and eventually you will get a newer computer. check with a local computer store for used memory if possible. i would not spend any money on this or at least a lot less.

The Cpu will be a decent boost,You might want to make sure your mobo supports it,you might need to update the Bios....the graphics card may help out a bit in some stuff, but dont expect lot from it,Its a low end card and not all that great especialy if you want to try out a bit of pc gaming.

That Power supply looks total trash,I wouldnt trust it.
