upgrading old crappy pc

ok so i built my current pc around two years ago now i think and the hardware is very outdated so i'm thinking of upgrading mainly my graphics card and memory.

I currently have an nvidia 7800gt and was thinking of buying another and going for the sli option, but was wondering that would i have to upgrade my cooling system within the pc. i have a clear case atm with 6 80mm fans. Now would this be efficient enough for both of the graphics cards or would i need to upgrade this as well. Now water cooling is out of the question because i wouldn't have a clue on how to install a unit so i would like to steer clean of that.

failing the sli option would it be better by just buying an up to date g card, but then again would my A8N-SLI Premium motherboard with a AMD athlon 3700+ be suitable with the newer g cards available?

Now with my memory i have 2X 512mb corsair xms3200 i believe its just standard DDR ( the 1s with the led's on top) now because i have this size memory would i be able to have 2more memory sticks both obviously of the same make and model but with say 1gb per stick, and also i cant seem to find any online. Is this model still available online or has it been replaced with a newer version?

thanks for your time

Well, that motherboard supports Athlon64 x2 processors, i am just guessing you might have to update the cpu support though...

If you are looking for a great, inexpensive upgrade go with one of these.
AMD: 6000+ It would be a huge upgrade from what you have now.

Or if you can't get that, get the 5200+, i have it an it runs great, i have it overclocked to 3.0 with no voltage changes, and with a stock cooler...

I am not fully sure if the 7750 will work, but if someone else can explain if it will work on that mobo, then definatley go with that, it preforms as well as a 6000+, and it is clocked .40ghz lower...

Ram: Mushkin 400DDR ram, get two of these and you system will be set.

Video card: Its a mid-gamer level card, but it is really nice...
