upgrading processor from A4-6300 to A10-8750

I am thinking of upgrading my processor in my computer from an AMD A4-6300 to an A10-8750, which is listed as compatible with my motherboard, but I can not find the A10-8750 for sale anywhere, but it is the one I would like to get, does anyone know wjhy this processor is not for sale right now? And also when replacing my processor will I need an APU or a CPU? I do not understand the difference, I assume I only need a CPU, but I see lots of processors now are APU, which include a video card if I understand correctly? so when I remove the A4-6300 I will remove the video card as well? And if I order an APU it will include a video card? I have not built a computer since 1999, and I don't remember exactly how I did it all. but I remember I had to buy a separate video card back then. But my computer I have now has a HDMI output for video. There should be a big jump in going from an A4-6300 to an A10-8750 correct?

I think they -just- came out so you might see a bit of delay/lead-time for vendors to have them in stock.

What video card do you have now? Yes, an APU contains a GPU integrated into it while a 'CPU' traditionally does not. There are only two models in that lineup without an iGPU which are designated as 'Athlon' instead of A10. If you're just using 'integrated graphics' currently then you'd want to get the A10 variant.

Ah okay I see mine is the A4-6300 APU with integrated Radeon HD Graphics, I think I will just wait until the A10-8750 is available on websites for sale until I upgrade. Thanks for the help
